Hi. I am looking for some recommendation to help me install some home theater speakers. I am sorry just in case I'm not in the correct thread. To avoid speaker wire disorder, I have bought a 5.8 GHz wireless loudspeaker kit for my surround speakers. The transmitter connects to the surround receiver rear loudspeaker outputs. Usually the transmitter should go into stand by after a few minutes of not having received music. However, my AV receiver continues emitting a hum when in stand by. This stops the cordless transmitter from going into standby. I find this will cause the cordless receivers to be awake at the same time. That causes my surround speakers to always send a hum while my AV receiver is in standby which happens to be sort of uncomfortable. I've been contemplating adding some sort of switch to disconnect the audio link between my surround receiver and the wireless transmitter though that remedy does not appear to be elegant. I would personally love any ideas. |
